RC 3D printed racecars
This is a great project where students can build a simple race car then continue to iterate with new designs and upgrades to make the carrace faster on a race track. They can also race against their friends. Students use engineering design software to design the parts of the car on the computer and then 3D print them.
3D printers
Designing and building a 3D printer is a great complex project. This 3D printer can be used in the makerspace for many years to help student make parts for their projects. Many of the parts for the 3D printer can be printed on the other 3D printers in the makerspace.
